A Warm Welcome to our New Teammates at The Southern Bank


We’re excited to introduce some fresh faces who’ve recently joined the team across a mix of roles and locations. Whether they’re working directly with customers or supporting operations behind the scenes, each new hire brings something special to the table, and we couldn’t be happier to have them on board. They’re jumping in with great energy, strong experience, and a shared passion for service.

First up, let’s give a big welcome to our newest tellers. These three team members are already making a strong impression at our Georgia branches in Hephzibah, Waynesboro, and Gibson. With positive attitudes, solid skills, and a love for helping people, they’re exactly the kind of team members we’re proud to have out front.

Chelsea Kitchens is now part of the crew in Hephzibah. With several years of experience in transaction processing, customer support, and bookkeeping, she’s ready to hit the ground running as a teller. From balancing tills to managing safe counts and handling bill payments, Chelsea brings both skill and heart to everything she does. We’re thrilled to have her with us.

Nathan Hance joins us as a float teller based out of Waynesboro. He’s got prior teller experience, standout people skills, and a great can-do attitude. Nathan is already making a difference across the branches he supports. He’s dependable, approachable, and always ready to help where he’s needed most.

Jasmine Ousley is settling in at our Gibson branch, bringing two years of banking experience along with a warm, detail-oriented approach. She’s sharp with cash handling, team support, and customer service. We’re excited to see the positive energy she brings to the team.

And to strengthen our customer support team, we’re just as excited to welcome Zachary Cooper as our new Deposit Operations Specialist. Zachary comes with a solid background in financial services and a talent for keeping things running smoothly. He’s all about collaboration, service, and results, and we know he’s going to make a big impact in his new role.

We’re thrilled to have each of these experts join our growing team. From the teller line to the back office, they’re already making a difference, and we can’t wait to see all the great things ahead. Be sure to give them a warm welcome when you see them around!
